Ah here, leave it out! African children take on an Irish meme

It's not everyday that an Irish meme has global appeal, but that is certainly not the case when it comes to 'Ah here, leave it out!'.

Irish schoolteacher Jonny McKeon (and his two friends James Carley and Susan Brennan) decided to bring a bit of Dublin to a Ugandan village where the trio were volunteering.

For the uninitiated, the now-famous phrase was uttered by Dublin grandmother Anne Grimes when she came across a brawl in Dublin city centre.

She urged all parties to 'leave it out' – a Dublin expression which basically means stop!
