Competition: Win tickets to Leinster vs Connacht Rugby at the RDS, Dublin, tomorrow. / [closed]

 Mike McCarthy's recently announced decision to leave Connaught at the end of the season and join the triple Heineken cup winners provides an interesting sub plot to what should be a fiercely contested game. 

Joe Schmidt's typically straight and to the point comments regarding the move, and Connachts' need to generate their own place where players of McCarthy's calibre will choose to stay west add an extra zip to the occasion. 

 Under the central contract system that operates within Irish rugby the same money and contract terms were on offer to McCarthy no matter which provide he went to. Perhaps this is a quirk of the uniquely Irish system: a team that has win 3 Heineken cups and brought serious money into Irish rugby as a result can't outbid its junior sibling. 

In many ways this is the essence of the Corinthian nature of rugby in Ireland and a large part of the charm and romance of the game here. However with all 4 provinces losing in the last round of the H cup it was a timely reminder that there is no room for complacency.  

The clash promises to be a full on affair and those looking for signs of festive goodwill might be advised to stay away! 

Leinster to win by 10 as the need is greater with some serious matches coming up in a do or die attempt to remain in the Heineken cup.
