Posted 4 days ago

Our image of the day comes courtesy of Trish Punch via Flickr. It features a rather chilly-looking Fermoyle, Co Kerry with snow-topped mountains in the background.
'This is part of the longest beach in Ireland. It starts in Cloghane and runs unbroken for 12 miles through Fermoyle, Castlegregory, and down the Maharees peninsula' she says.
