Ireland got hit by a Canadian snow storm last night. 

Much to the kids delight the seaside town of Skerries in North County Dublin got about 5 inches of snow last night as winter decided to assert its authority! As the annual debate continued around when does spring start in Ireland those of us who, optimistically believe its St Brigit's day, 1st February, have had the argument challenged. Apparently a cold wind blowing down from Canada is responsible for this snow storm. Kids are happy though! 

Forecast is for it to turn to slush and rain later so get out there and get that snow man built quickly!
