FAI and WorldIrish kick off their partnership at the Aviva

WorldIrish has partnered with the Football Association of Ireland,  the governing body of football in Ireland, to map its supporters around the world on WorldIrish.com/FAI.

We visited the Aviva Stadium to see Ireland defeat Poland 2-0 on Wednesday 6 February, where John Delaney, CEO of FAI, met with John McColgan, chairman of WorldIrish, and Michael Branagan, our CEO.

The partnership is all about mapping supporters of Irish football around the world, and connecting them to the global Irish network.

'This is your opportunity to fly the flag abroad, and make Ireland one of the first international football teams to map their supporters worldwide,' the FAI said.

Ireland manager Giovanni Trappatoni also asked fans to put themselves on the map in a video for WorldIrish.
