Gerry Adams joins Twitter and locks himself out of the house

So a couple of days ago Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams TD joined Twitter. Now I'd be forgiven for saying that everyone just presumed his would be like those of other politicians on on the social networking site.
You know what I mean; the policy stuff, the 'just out an really encouraging with x and y' or 'was visiting the Yada Yada Festival yesterday and had a great time' tweets you regularly see from other TDs and county councillors.
But Gerry's different! There's little bit of that kind of thing but also lots about his every day life and whatnot. Like this afternoon when he managed to lock himself out of the house:
Rg took the car. Took my house keys also. I feel an adventure coming on.

RGs phone constantly engaged. Its getting dark. Wud climb in back window but downpipe broken.

The Twitter reaction to Gerry's plight:
URGENT APPEAL: Gerry Adams needs your help. If you can provide food or windows please let us know #prayforGerry

To recap: Gerry Adams is locked outside of his gaff. No keys. It's getting dark. Can't climb in back window because drainpipe is broken.
