Key duties and responsibilities

The WorldIrish website is a fast growing and highly engaging platform. The website architecture is equally scalable and robust. We are looking for experienced and resourceful engineers to help grow this platform to the next level.

The required skills for the ideal candidate are:

Nginx

CentOS

PHP-FPM

Heartbeat / Monit

MySQL clustering

Rabbit MQ

Tomcat

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated individual with a passion for content, community and bringing the Irish around the world together in a digital environment. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.


  • Business Development Manager

The required skills for the ideal candidate are:

Identifying opportunities to promote suitable sponsorship, advertising and e-commerce opportunities on the WorldIrish platform 

Delivering new business by securing strategic commercial partnerships

Working with others on the WorldIrish team including management  marketing, community and development teams to optimise business development

Identifying networking opportunities and domestic and international partners

The ability to put together relevant marketing and sales pitches will be crucial to this role

The successful candidate will have a  track record of business development and sales in the online space and preferably in social media.They must be a highly motivated individual with a passion for content, community and bringing the Irish around the world together in a digital environment. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.


  • Community Support Executive

The required skills for the ideal candidate are:

Provide community support for the WorldIrish community. This will include managing and answering members daily queries and generally helping members get the best out of being part of the WorldIrish community. 

Generating various relevant community reports when required

Assisting the Community Manager and the internal marketing teams in creating and running competitions 

Working with the in-house content team to ensure creative and engaging content is created

Support Community team in helping to deliver our social media strategy generally

Skills incuded include copywriting and creative planning

The successful candidate will have 2 years relevant industry experience, proven track record of managing social media channels, experience of community management and social media monitoring.They must be a highly motivated individual with a passion for content, community and bringing the Irish around the world together in a digital environment. A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.
