Brian Hora Town Clerk Cavan Urban Council talks to Aine Duffy about the upcoming launch of the Cavan Town Council Estate Enhancement Grant and Awards Scheme which is beihg launched on Monday 4th March. Aine also spoke to Margaret Basmajian about her involvement in The Good Morning Positive Age Programme and her nomination in the Anglo Celt Rehab Person of The Decade Competition. Margaret was delighted that voting is now available from all over the world on the Anglo Celt website www.anglocelt.ie. Margaret was winner of the Cavan Person of the Year in 2008 for her work supporting Older People in the Community through the Good Morning Positive Age Service. Aine provided around the County News and Views feature which will be a regular item on Cavan News and Views. Aine rounded off the programme with an interview with Monsignor Michael Cooke from Belturbet who was a victim of the recent spate of burgularies in the area.
