In pictures: Small aircraft incident at Dublin Airport causes runway closure

The main runway at Dublin Airport has been closed this morning following an incident with a small aeroplane.
According to eyewitnesses, the nose wheel of a Metroplane jet collapsed shortly after landing. There were two people on board the aeroplane at the time of the incident, however no injuries have been reported. Emergency services are currently on the scene.

The DAA has opened the airport's crosswind runway to avoid severe knock-on delays. Passengers are being advised to check with their airlines before they fly.
'We will continue to keep passengers informed,' the authority said on its Twitter feed.
