Will it snow on St Patrick's Day in Ireland?

This cold spell we're experiencing isn't going away any time soon. But with every cloud there's a silver lining. In this case, it's snow! Coincidentally our best chance for snow this week will be on St Patrick's Day.
Current models are forecasting snow throughout the country with places in and around Co Waterford being hit the hardest. The snow will occur throughout the morning, peaking at 9:00 am, and diminishing afterwards. Coastal areas will likely be hit with sleet instead of snow.
