The Five Stages of an Irish Summer (in handy infographic form)

Remember those rays of sunshine we saw over the bank holiday weekend? The hope they inspired, the hurried organisation of BBQ sessions across the nation? But deep down, we all knew the arrival of the Irish summer was just a red herring.

Dublin-based illustrator Eoin Whelehan created this brilliant representation of the Five Stages of an Irish Summer while working on 35 days, a personal challenge to himself to create a piece of artwork every day for, you guessed it, 35 days.

He created some other gems too, like the guide to pigeon Irish, the cheese toastie map of Dublin, and symptoms of The Fear.
