US women vote Irish men as second sexiest in the world

Good news for all you Irish men out there - according to US company Miss Travel, you're officially all a great looking bunch of lads.

The folks at Miss Travel, a dating and travel website based in the US, asked their members to rate the sexiest nationalities across the world and the Irish managed to claim second position, ahead of the Swedes, French, and Scottish. The number one spot was scooped by the British.

The list also put a famous face to each nationality and and lovable rogue Colin Farrell was placed to represent us.*

Considering that a couple of weeks ago the world found out that the Irish were voted as being the most ugly in the world this is certainly welcoming news!
