Mexican bagpipe band is going to World Championships

Saint Patrick's Battalion Bagpipe band is the only mexican group of their kind. It's named after the brave irish (and french and welsh) soldiers that deserted the US army during the 1847 invasion because they were mistreated by americans and the war was pretty unfair. Their Captain was John Riley. In my country they're national heroes.
The band honours the memory of that battalion and after raising money via Facebook and FundRazr they've got enough for their trip to World Championships in Glaslow. The competition wil be held in august and they'll be competing with other 200 bands from arround the wold.
They will also visit Ireland to perform in a ceremony for Saint Patrick's Battalion in the New Ross museum. Best of luck for them.
