I was born and live in Massachusetts. We travel to the west of Ireland often and I have beloved relatives in Roscommon. I have studied Gaeilge for several years and enjoy oil painting and cooking. I admire Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness, Sinn Fein, and the notion of a united 32 county republic. I believe that the unique Irish capacity to recognize the mystical in the mundane is what separates us as a race from all others and is what we recognize in each other and is what unites us as a people worldwide.
