Richard Strathern

I live in Gresham, Oregon, USA. I am retired. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. My father is from Killyberry, Bellaghy, Derry, Northern Ireland. My mother's parents are from Counties Clare and Kerry. I visited Ireland in 1979 and had a wonderful time visiting the Stratherns of Killyberry Lane outside of Bellaghy Ireland. Meet Seamus Heaney in Portland, Oregon in 2005. He makes mention of my Cousin Willie Strathern, in his famous book of poems, Station Island. The picture on my profile was taken in 1912. My father, my grand mother and grand father and great grandmother and family. It came into our family around 1950. My wife Patty and I enjoy our home near the Columbia River, Oregon.
