Top Ten Irish Celebrity Tweeters

The news that Niall Horan from One Direction has topped the list of Irish celebrities on Twitter in terms of followers won’t come as a surprise to the band’s millions of fans around the world. 

Their new single ‘Live While We’re Young’ has reached number one in 40 countries – even though it hasn’t received its first play yet.

The 18-year-old man from Westmeath now has 6 million followers on the social networking site – more than the population of Ireland!
