We've already told you about seven Irish expat blogs you should read , but now we're bringing you Australia's finest Irish bloggers.

Each of these blogs are well worth checking out, and are regularly updated.

Let us know if we've missed any!

Carolanne's Kitchen

http://carolanneskitchen.com/

Carolanne's from Co Sligo, but living in Perth, Western Australia. her blog is all about delicious concoctions and plenty of them: boxty or potato cakes, gluten-free pizza, and deliciously dark rummy chocolatey pudding, to name a few.

Growing up with a lot of bakers in my family, I had a lot to live up to. My grannies, great aunts and mother were and are still such inspiring women to watch in the kitchen. A handful of this and a dash of that. This has inevitably become my way of cooking and baking. I was raised on wholesome, nutritious foods and always went back for seconds.

Sadhbh Warren

http://sadhbh.blogspot.ie/

Sadhbh (pronounced 'Sive', as her blog header helpfully points out) is from Co Cork, and lives in Sydney where she works as a freelance writer. She blogs about anything and everything that takes her fancy, whether that's writing, running, or beer. We recently chatted to Sadhbh about life in Sydney, blogging, and marrying 'a cute Australian'.

I was born in Cork, Ireland, but I live in Australia these days as it has nicer weather, fabulous beaches and the pubs open very late.

I write humour, business and travel articles. This allows me to claim my chronic travel habit is actually necessary work travel. Which is a great excuse if you can get away with it.

Irish Wattle

http://irishwattle.blogspot.ie/

Irish Wattle does exactly what it says at the top: explored Australia's Irish Ancestry. The blog is run by two women, Barbara Hall and Cassie Mercer, with a passion for history and publishing. From 18th century love letters to visits to historic memorials, the pair cover their area with care.

Irish Wattle is a publishing hub for information on Irish convicts transported to New South Wales, Australia. Come find your ancestor!

It was the day she discovered she was descended from a Dublin highwayman that [Barabara Hall's] interest in genealogy was sparked. That was 20 years ago ... Since then Barbara has chronicled the lives of all those other very early prisoners transported between 1790 and 1797.
