A delicious salmon and sesame seed cake recipe

Don't these salmon and sesame cakes look super tasty? They'd certainly make a nice treat this January. Have a look at how to make these delicious cakes:

Ingredients:

  • 25g/1oz Odlums Cream Plain Flour 
  • 213g tin Red or Pink Salmon, drained and flaked 
  • 200g/8oz potatoes, cooked and mashed 
  • 1 Egg, beaten 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped Fresh Dill 
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated Lemon Rind 
  • 1 Dill Cucumber, finely chopped 
  • Sesame Seeds to coat

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients, except sesame seeds, together and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix well and shape into 6 fish cakes and lightly coat in sesame seeds.
  3. Pan fry in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  4. Drain on paper towel and serve.
