So Gerry Adams' teddy bear now has a Twitter account

The real-life soap opera that is Gerry Adams' Twitter feed is continuing to keep us enthralled and ever so slightly aghast. First, the Sinn Féin leader and Louth TD locked himself out of the house.

Then this happened:

In Dáil chamber. Thought I had a pen in my pocket. Discovered it is s tooth brush! Silly me!!!!

But it was with the introduction of Ted, his faithful sidekick and teddy bear, when the account really jumped the shark:

Like all good, fictional, wool-filled characters, it didn't take long for Ted to get his own parody account. Last night, Gerry Adams' new, self-appointed special advisor began to tweet:
