1. Irish Network Philadelphia

The Irish Network in Philadelphia or 'IN-Philly', founded back in March 2010, is an online network of Irish, Irish-Americans, and friends of Ireland throughout the Greater Philadelphia area in the US.

2. Hudson Valley Irish

Hudson Valley Irish, founded in December 2012, 'is a place where all Irish and Celts can come and share who they are, activities, Music, Clubs and Organisations  their Ancestry, and general Chit Chat.'

3. Irish Outreach San Diego

Irish Outreach in San Diego was founded back in 1999. Here's what they say: 'Our mission is to extend the hands of caring and guidance to the Irish in San Diego.'

4. Irish Heritage Club of Bakersfield

This Irish club located in Bakersfield in California, opened back in April 2011. Their mission? 

'To celebrate our Irish heritage through music, food, dance, travel, history and gathering. 

To preserve our Irish heritage and embrace our ancestry. To provide connections for people of Bakersfield with Irish ancestry traveling to Ireland, so they can have a better experience by meeting up with friends of our club.'

The Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago was founded back in 1985. According to its founder the centre 'fosters the practice, study and celebration of Irish, Celtic, and Irish-American cultural traditions.'

Wisconsin's oldest and largest Irish-American organisation, the Shamrock Club was founded on St Patrick's Day back in 1960. Their mission? 'To be all things Irish to all.'
