It's the question on everyone's lips: what food did the Obama family put to their lips last night in Dublin?

Well wonder no more: Michelle had Carlingford Oysters followed by Sauteed Prawns with chilli and garlic and a mixed leaf salad, while Sasha and Malia shared a Jumbo Shrimp cocktail and then chose a Shepherds Pie and Fish and Chips respectively. 

The First Family ate at the Matt the Thresher Seafood Bar on Pembroke Street in the city centre – a stone's throw away from their hotel.

Speaking afterwards, owner Jimmy Lyons said, 'We are still in shock but feel very honoured to have been able to welcome the Obama family tonight.'
