I'm delighted to have been invited to talk about Ireland's Digital Creativity at the Irish Embassy in London next week as part of the New Creative Irish Talent Showcase on July 10, 2013.

Curator Gary Dunne, Director of Arts at The London Irish Centre is bringing together a selection of fresh, innovative and inspiring Irish creative talent to a London audience, with the aims of transcending stereotypes, challenging expectations and promoting Ireland and Irish talent in a positive and entertaining way.

Appearing on the first line-up of what will hopefully become a regular fixture are

- MusicDaithi O Dronai and Nell Ní Chróinín
- Spoken Word: Stephen James Smith and Karl Parkinson
- Film: A selection of Irish shorts
- Visual art will be on display

In attendance will be invited media, artists, members of the Irish Community in London, London Arts Programmers and Corporate Sponsors and representatives.

I'll be talking about Irish Digital Creatives, tying digital creativity to culture - from animation to Apps, from trailblazers to YouTubers, from campaigns to competitions, from street art to photography - with a view of showing the best of creative talent working in the vastness that is the digital space in Ireland. That's where I'd like your help.

I'm hoping to do a top 10 Creatives that you should know about for that audience.

Would you like to be represented?

For this event I'll be on stage for 10 to 15 minutes showing some of what I think is great in the Irish Digital Space.

If you'd like to be included, please send me a link of what I can put on screen for you. 45 - 90 second videos or images with your elevator pitch and where people can find out more about you.

Animators, Artists, College Graduates, Designers, YouTubers, Photographers and more - I'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're looking for business, a job, an audience or an opportunity, I'm happy to hear from you and I'll let you know if I can include you this time or not.

I'd also love to hear your suggestions and recommendations of who or what to include.

You can PM me on WorldIrish or email me directly at [email protected]

Going forward the idea is to collect together a showcase of the best of Irish creativity to share with the world.

You can follow progress here on WorldIrish and on Twitter @irishshowcase and Facebook: Irishshowcase.
