Tallafest Community Family Festival in Tallaght Village

Tallafest is a free Community Fun Filled Family Festival being held in Tallaght Village on the 6th & Bohernabreena 7th July.

The main activities and launch of the Festival will be starting a 1pm on the Saturday in Tallaght Village with South Dublin County’s newly elected Mayor Dermot Looney, joined by Tallaght’s Person of The Year Norman Kelly, special guest June Rogers and also the well known celeb Paddy Drac.

One of the event’s main sponsors are Tallaght Community Council, who were inspired by The Gathering’s initiative and decided to celebrate Tallaght’s rich heritage in the environment by planning and organising public meetings to facilitate such an event, for the people of Tallaght .

Speaking recently to their P.R.O Tara De Buitléar, they said, “We have a very dedicated festival committee made up of local people, businesses & community groups and we will be co-operating with South Dublin County Council and the Gardaí to ensure that the event is well organised and supported�?.

The festival will have Street Entertainment, Games, Walks & Talks, Face Painting & a BBQ.
